ETHICAL ADVERTISING CHARTER

1. PREAMBLE

My Lovely Planet is an impact mobile game whose mission is to turn playing time into concrete action for the planet. Part of our business model relies on in-game advertising. This charter sets out the commitments we make regarding the ads shown to our players.

2. OUR COMMITMENT

We are committed to doing everything technically possible to ensure that the ads shown in My Lovely Planet respect our players, are suitable for a broad audience and are consistent with our values.

3. EXCLUDED CONTENT AND SECTORS

Wherever the ad networks allow it, we block the following categories:

- Sexual, suggestive or shocking content
- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping and related products
- Gambling, betting and casinos (including simulated gambling)
- Weapons and violence
- Hateful, discriminatory or politically divisive content
- High-risk financial products
- Scams, misleading claims and "miracle products"
- Content generally unsuitable for minors

In line with our environmental mission, we also pay particular attention to advertisers whose business or messaging clearly contradicts the protection of the planet, especially heavily polluting sectors, and we exclude them wherever our tools allow.

Beyond these categories, we reserve the right to block any specific brand or advertiser reported as inappropriate.

4. HOW WE ACT

We work with several ad networks, which do not all offer the same level of control.

Networks with direct control (notably Google and Meta). These platforms let us block content categories and specific advertisers. We systematically apply the exclusions listed above and update our block lists regularly.

Networks without granular control. Some advertising partners do not allow us to block a brand or a category directly. For these networks, we apply the strictest filters available, we report inappropriate ads brought to our attention to the platforms concerned, and we reserve the right to stop working with any partner that does not act on our reports.

Programmatic advertising. Because of programmatic advertising, an inappropriate ad may occasionally slip through despite our blocks. We have therefore set up a reporting tool for our users, and we forward each report to our ad network partners when it is deemed legitimate.

5. REPORTING AN INAPPROPRIATE AD

Any player can report an ad they consider inappropriate to: support@mylovelyplanet.org.

This charter is published on our website and may be updated; the version date shall prevail.
